Kentucky citizens should be able to register and vote on the same day. Even if that day is election day. Especially if that day is election day.
Registration for voting should be automatic upon showing proof of residency in any official context. This includes, but should not be limited to, getting a driver’s license, paying state taxes, getting a library card, and participating in the census.
